As part of an effort to improve the supply chain in the natural products sector in WNC and across the state from growers to wild harvesters to manufacturers, the North Carolina Natural Products Association in partnership with NCSU's Alternative Crops and Organics program and the SBTDC is seeking input from growers and manufacturers to strengthen the Blue Ridge Naturally value chain.
From manufacturers in the region, the NCNPA wants to learn what they can do to support local sourcing of medicinal herbs and what demand for them may be.
From farmers, they'd like to learn what medicinal herbs are already grown, what herbs are of interest to grow and how they and their partners can assist in improving on-farm production and cash flow through raising these crops.
Please take a few moments of your time today to complete the survey and share it with those who may be interested. Your input will remain confidential.
